Continence Service
This team provides specialist clinical assessment, individualised treatment programmes, education and support for adults who have bladder or bowel problems. We endeavour to improve symptoms of bladder or bowel dysfunction and where this is not clinically possible, support the indiviudal to manage this long term condition optimally. This service is delivered in community clinics, care homes and patients own homes.

The aim of the service is to improve patients’ quality of life by offering a full, holistic assessment to promote continence and refer them to other health professionals for further investigations and treatment as required. Appropriate aids and products may be provided to help manage unresolved incontinence, based on clinical need.
New process for ordering continence products
HCRG Care Group in West Lancashire has partnered with NHS Supply Chain to improve the effectiveness and quality of the delivery of continence products to you.
From the 10 September 2018 you will need to call 0800 030 4466 to activate each of your deliveries or raise any queries you may have. To re-order your products please contact home delivery by telephone and they will do the rest. There are 2 ways of re-ordering your products:

- Enter * to speak to a Customer Service Advisor^
The self-service facility is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days of the year and will provide you with your delivery date once the order has been activated. Please remember that you’ll need to use your unique PIN number when using self-service which can be found on your introduction letter. We strongly encourage you to choose this option when prompted on the 0800 030 4466 number.
